I like being alone, but I hate the feeling of being lonely.

When you’re alone, you have time for yourself. Your thoughts finally catch up to you. You set your mind on things and everything is just clearer. Nothing’s bothering you and everything just feels right for once.

When you feel lonely, you feel as if no one’s there for you. It feels like no one understands you or is willing to listen. It feels like you’re screaming in a crowded room, but yet not one person looks up.

Whoop dee fucking doo indeed.

Ever feel like the Daily Show does better reporting and REAL questioning than most news shows?

It’s satire only reveals more truth than not.

This is from the slut walk. One of the arguments is that girls ask for rape because they wear slutty clothes, short skirts, tight, low-cut tops. This girl is an example of the fact that rape victims can look like anyone, you, me, this girl. Rapists. Dont. Discriminate.

I promised a long time ago that I’d reblog this whenever I saw it on my dash. No regrets, it breaks my heart every single time.

an incredibly important message, rape is rape. no one is ever asking for it. a woman has the right to dress how ever they want - it is society that identifies risque dressing as ‘asking for it’, and in my opinion, that way of thinking needs to be diminished.

to everyone who madly, stupidly, blessedly won’t stop surviving

to everyone rising above their station

to everyone whose house will be for all people who have nowhere else to go

to a 46 year old man who feels like he’s eternally 15, who has endured what no one should and now writes for the broken and the naked and the hungry
